Long-time freelance producer Jesse Gordon has partnered with award winning cinematographer Wolf Austad to create a unique “all-in-one” unit for behind-the-scenes and other documentary style shoots.

Drawing on Jesse’s well-honed creative-producer skills and Wolf’s feature-trained eye, Lucky Eight’s goal is to bring an unusually high production-value to shoots that can easily succumb to a run-of-the-mill, TV-news style aesthetic. Combining the flexibility required for great documentary (or b-roll) shooting with the ability to create beautifully lit and executed interviews (or any other elements), Lucky Eight offers a budget-conscious and state-of-the art option for this ever-more important shooting-style.
